    Classification of wooden parquets

    Prime grade / PRIME
    As the name says, everything prime is the most difficult to get from the tree, the appearance is practically knotless and if there is a knot, it will be very limited in size. You won't find any sapwood in this grade and the very limited color variations give the floor a very smooth and elegant look.

     

    Rustic Class A
    In the rustic class you will find more knots, but they will be small in size, no bigger than a 1 euro coin. It will give the floor a slightly more natural look. Cracked knots will be filled with additional filler. In rustic class A, sapwood is not allowed. Color variations are very limited.

     

    Rustic class A/B
    Within this grade, the healthy knots will be slightly larger than in the rustic A grade. The wood will be livelier and give your floor a slightly more urban look and feel. In some slats you will find a small crack, which of course will be filled if necessary, and also a cracked knot. There may be a small strip of sapwood in a small percentage of the floorboards.

     

    Rustic class
    In fact, the most natural quality wooden parquet you will find. From top to bottom, all the beauty of nature is included in this class. So you'll find some bigger, healthy, fuller snots in the slats. Sapwood is also allowed more. Of course any unusable parts such as wormholes, red or rotten parts are not allowed in the classroom. After installation, this class will give your interior a real natural look that cannot be copied.
