COREtec composite vinyl flooring consists of several layers. It is the latest generation of composite vinyl flooring. There is a top layer on top, which ensures resistance to damage to the floor. It is a mix of acrylic and corundum. The load is up to 33/42 - high load of office premises. Underneath the top layer is a decorative vinyl layer - the decor you see. Under this layer is the core of the lamella, which contains approx. 50% virgin vinyl and approx. 50% stone. This core is patented by US Floors. It is non-absorbent and very stable. And finally there is the cork layer. The floating floor ensures the possibility of installation directly on concrete or anhydrite, which does not have to be in 100% condition, on ceramics, or on an old floor, because it can handle unevenness up to 4mm per 2bm. You don't have to scrape the base, level it, etc., which saves you time and money!

Yes. The manufacturer uses the so-called virgin vinyl – does not contain any plasticizers or solvents like regular vinyl floors. COREtec composite vinyl flooring has the strictest indoor air quality certificates, such as A+, lead-free, phthalate-free, Green guard gold, EC1, etc. Look in our catalogs on the back pages. So, even if you have underfloor heating in your house or apartment, COREtec composite vinyl floors will not release anything into the air - in other words, the vinyl floor will not stink indoors.

COREtec composite vinyl flooring is truly 100% waterproof! The core contains about 50% stone. And all other layers are non-absorbent. Therefore, the entrance area, corridor, kitchen, bathroom are not a problem. She doesn't mind red wine, ketchup, salt water, etc. Check out our extreme test - no bending, no bloating!

WARNING! The fact that the COREtec floor is 100% waterproof does not mean that you can install it on a wet surface. The pressure can cause deformation of the slats and mold can form on the wet substrate!

Yes. The composite vinyl floor can be laid in a floating way up to 400m2 (20x20m) without expansion gaps between rooms - no transition strips or thresholds, no height differences between rooms! The vinyl floor is suitable for the entrance area, corridor, kitchen, bathroom, shower, for various rooms such as gym, sauna, conservatory, room with jacuzzi or swimming pool, etc. The composite vinyl floor shrinks or expands minimally thanks to the stable layers of the lamella. It is enough to make at least 6 mm dilation around the perimeter, which will be covered by the plinths, because all building materials, such as walls and the base, work.

The manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty on composite vinyl floors, which means that your clapboard floor will fulfill the purpose it serves. For example during its lifetime, the lamellas will not fall apart, the top layer of 0.55 mm will not rub off up to the decorative layer, you will not have gaps between the lamellas if the unevenness tolerances of the substrate are respected, and you will not have any traces of liquids on the surface. In commercial spaces, the service life is limited to 10 years, due to a much higher load than in private use.

Yes. Composite vinyl flooring has special layers that ensure that the surface is softer and therefore more comfortable to walk on. Your joints will no longer suffer. The stone, which is in the core of the floor, is heated by the ambient temperature of the room and is therefore warmer than laminate and wooden floors and also than regular vinyl floors. It also accumulates heat like a tiled stove.

Yes. Composite vinyl floors are best installed at 20 degrees. But even in an unheated room or in a very warm room, the composite vinyl floor can handle it. However, if the temperatures will be minus or higher than 65 degrees, it is necessary to stick the composite vinyl floors with a special glue over the entire surface so that they do not deform.

Not. Composite vinyl flooring is stable and strong and therefore does not copy the substrate. Each slat includes a cork pad. It is enough to observe the tolerance of the unevenness of the substrate of 4mm/2bm. The basic rule must be observed: firm, dry and level surface.

Since COREtec is a very stable composite floating floor thanks to the individual layers of the lamella and the stable core, it does not need to be acclimatized. You can install floating floors right away. Because time is money!

The vapor barrier prevents water from getting into the pores of the cork mat, where there is a risk of mold forming on the base. Water can also exert negative pressure on the crank joint, which can deform over time.

Therefore, always set the drying program of the screed, where the substrate will dry sufficiently during 21 days. Check the residual humidity with a hygrometer and, if necessary, dry the substrate by further intensive heating and ventilation of the room.

CERAguard, glass fibers and mineral core are unique. There is a top layer on top that ensures resistance to scratching the floor - thermal resin - CERAguard top layer. A hammer, a saw and a charger are essential. We strongly recommend using expansion wedges and a crosscut saw with a blade suitable for plastics. Other essentials to keep on hand include a pencil, chalk and tape measure.

Our 100% waterproof slats and tiles can be installed in any room of your home, from the basement to the top floor. COREtec is an indoor product and must be stored/installed indoors with a controlled temperature, maintained between 13°-29°C.

Yes. 5mm COREtec vinyl floor has a thermal resistance of only 0.0318 K/W m2. 8mm COREtec vinyl floor has a thermal resistance of 0.066 K/W m2. CERAtouch ceramic floating floor has a thermal resistance of 0.0295 K/W m2. These are excellent parameters, because we do not exceed 0.15 K/W m2, so our floating floors transmit heat very well. The good news is that our floating floors are also suitable for both hot water and electric underfloor heating! In the case of non-built-in electric grates in the subfloor, always ask for a statement from the manufacturer of these heating elements, whether our floating floor is suitable for use. Important parameters for the mat are 350 kg/m3 and thickness up to 3 mm. Detailed instructions and recommendations can be found in the installation guide.

No, our floating floor is intended for interior use. Installing our floating floors outdoors will void any product warranty.

It is still best if the substrate is dry, especially in the case of underfloor heating. Anhydrite must be ground so that the so-called the shell that forms on the surface after it was poured did not prevent it from drying. A damp subfloor is prone to mold growth, which you will all agree is not good if you have mold in your new home. If you are not sure whether the substrate is sufficiently dried, still use a vapor barrier. Our floating floors include a cork underlay that has pores that keep water out because the water is pushed up as it evaporates. And leave a 1 cm dilatation between the floor and the wall without slats so that the substrate can gradually dry out. Detailed instructions and recommendations can be found in the installation guide. The principle still applies that the substrate must be solid, dry and level!

First, vacuum and dust the floating floors. Remove all loose dirt and stones. Then clean the floating floors with a slightly damp mop with COREtec cleaner. Always use felt pads or cardboard when moving furniture or other heavy objects across the floor.

Simply sweep or dry mop the floating floors to remove dirt, dust and pebbles. Avoid dirty mops as they can leave marks that can dull your floating floors over time. For a more thorough cleaning, you will need a ph neutral cleaner, so do not use products such as floor polish. We recommend using our Daily Cleanser, which is a fresh-smelling, quick-drying, highly concentrated cleaner. Our Daily Cleaner removes dirt when wiping the floor and gives the floor a new look. It leaves no traces, so the original appearance is preserved. We recommend using COREtec Intensive Cleaner for regular deep cleaning. Follow the directions on the label. Always vacuum or remove dirt before any wet cleaning.

Do not use vacuum cleaners with rotating rods on hard surfaces. Never use steam cleaners as the high heat can cause the vinyl layer to curl and peel. Do not use products with shine.

As with other floor surfaces, you'll want to absorb wet spills as quickly as possible by vacuuming with paper or cloth towels. Rinse with water as needed and dry. Dried areas should be removed by gently cleaning and rinsing with water. Vacuum.

For more resistant dirt, we offer a special stain remover. The stain remover is a specially designed remover of glue, stains and dirt such as ink, shoe polish, felt-tip pen, ballpoint pen, cosmetics, grease, oil, dispersion paints, varnishes and waterproof adhesive residues on all our floating floors. Do not use all-purpose cleaners or abrasive cleaners, as these products may leave a residue.

The single biggest cause of damage to any floor or floor finish is the abrasion of dirt and pebbles. If possible, use doormats at entrances and doors. If mats are placed directly on our floating floors, please use mats without latex or rubber backing to prevent possible staining.

Use durable floor protectors under heavy furniture, chairs and tables. Use suitable window shades as direct sunlight can cause the floor color to fade over time.
